Oh Blimey, Angel, what a decision you have to make. How well positioned are the people who made the offer? Can they move quickly?Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000

Oh Angie, what a dilema. I suppose it depends on whether selling would pay off the mortgage or whether it would leave a shortfall which could go into BR. I do know my mortgage company (Northern Rock) were more than happy for me to sell it rather than them repossess so if you want to go down the sale route just tell them about the potential buyer. I managed to delay the actual repossession for some considerable time as I did have potential buyers occasionally!

I am with NR...in arrears since last April so I can understand their viewpoint. I have spoken with them but obviously they are at the point that they won`t offer more time...still it will take some time to repo anyway. Yes there is a shortfall ( c60k:eek:) so I guess it matters not to me either way....just wanted to try & recoup as much as I could to clear as much as possible.
Feel like throwing in the towel quite honestly & let them make more loss!!
Que sera !!!
Anyhow.....large horlicks for me please barman !!!0 -

That was my hope for the house. When I managed to get my council house (just about the time NR were reaching their limit with me) the house was up for 135K, about 10K below the mortgage. NR's estate agent advertised it for 112K and probably sold it for less - hence the atleast 40K shortfall! Really just given up with them as they won't get a penny as I haven't got it to give.
Think I'll have a Horlicks too please Bar person!BR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500
