Samsung Plasma TV won't default to HD connection

Options
Any ideas how I can change the settings to default to the HDMI slot when I turn on sky HD?

This was never a problem when I had sky plus connected through scart, every time the box was turned on the tv jumped to the signal being output by the skybox.

However the new sky box is now connected via hdmi cable but each time the tv is turned on again I have to manually find the hdmi channel.

It takes a few seconds, but can be a bit frustrating doing it each and every time.

  • SCART switching was controlled by one of the cables in the SCART lead.

This isn't possible with HDMI (as far as I know).

Have a look in the settings, on my Panasonic there is a setting to set the input when you switch on the TV and i have it selected to HDMI 1 which is my Sky HD box

My Sky HD box auto switches via HDMI , it might be just certain TV's that can do this tho not sure.
