Word on the street has it that Asda might be paying out this week - not before time, as far as I'm concerned as I've been waiting since October for my £68 cashback!

Nothing more to add, free cash has virtually disappeared from here. :(

I'm still here in spirit, just not making much headway, although I now have a few eggs-tra pennies to add to my total. :)

  • Hi everyone.

Well, my "I'm totally motivated for this challenge" start lasted all of 5 minutes, I'm ashamed to say. Have an embarrasing total of £82.32 (all of which was instantly spent :o). Got lots of plans, but not much action.

I really need another (number 1002!) lightbulb moment.

Well done to everyone - hope you're all doing better than me.

Hi Polly, I'm not doing too well either, as I lost count and haven't been doing very much to get it back on track. TCB has paid out the A$da money, so my cashback was up to £80.60 for this payment, so I might have limped past the £300 mark but will need to check. My main concern is that my cash neutral budget does get neutralised before the year is out, but I'm a long way short of that with loads more still to pay between now and then. Still, it's better than not neutralising any of the spends as free money is still free money :)

Maybe we should change the name of it to £100 in 1000 days - I might manage it then :D

Just found out I'm due a tiny tax return, if I add that to my insurance cashback it's nearly enough for a TV license :rotfl:
