Hi everyone, I'm glad to see how well you're all doing, unfortunately I'm going to have to pull out of this one. I have decided to sell my flat so I'm using the money from this for to finish up jobs around the house, also my mum is giving me a loan to pay off argos (interest free!!).
Sorry, I feel bad about pulling out although my final total before all this was £621!!!! which I'm really chuffed about and as most of it was ebay sales it has really helped me make a start on all the decluttering i have to do. Good luck all!!

Hello to all and good luck selling your flat, Scarlett. Well done to eBayers and car booters, I'm about giving up all hope of seeing anywhere close to £1000 but have, at last, made it past the first £100 - woohoo!:o

My overall aim is to neutralise all spending over & above cost of living. As you'll see by my signature, I'm only about half way there and the gap's forever widening. I HAVE to bridge that gap this year, as there's no spare cash available until after DD's wedding (September) and DS's 21st (May 2010) and even then, that's only assuming there will still be work available. I'll not be running this challenge after this 100 days is up but I'll continue to work at neutralising extra spends as I progress with the self-sufficientish project. :)

Hope everyone else is doing alright, I'll keep updating until the challenge ends on 19th July 2009, then it's nose to the grindstone in the garden :)
