does anyone else have instant email and are with tmobile.
The reason i ask is i recently upgraded to a nokia e71 and was told i could have instant email.
I did for three weeks then it stopped working, 6 hours on the phone to the techie dept and a NEW phone they call me back to say, we are no longer providing instant email
Im livid, the reason i stayed was for that reason! they are saying its an extra to my contract, i pay 3.50 on top of my contract to have it so its not actually my contractual agreement.
Can anyone advise me what to do?

Well firstly I'd be looking to have that 3.50 removed from my bill.0

There are any number of programs for the phone which can check your email every couple of minutes if you wish. Bit foolish to be paying over 40 quid a year for it.
Try this one to start with: https://email.nokia.com/ for Nokias own software. It is a trial and might well become chargable in the future but there are lots of alternatives available.
Besides all that, the E71 has email support regardless of which network you use.0 -
look for push email applications for the e71. Try emoze.com for example.
All it will cost is your data usage0 -

I never used the service, despite being on t-mobile. It is not the only way to get push email, it is just their version of it. As mentioned before, you download any push email application yourself for your phone and it will do the same thing for you.
I used emoze.com on my nokia phone before I moved to G1. Emoze.com was free.0 -
I have an E71 on T-Mobile and my email works perfectly fine on it. Just set it up on the handset and it should work, but be aware you will be charged for internet connections whenever you use it, unless you have the instant email bundle or a web n walk internet bundle.
Instant email has never been free of charge on T-Mobile - they have always charged for the internet connection.I accept no liability if you chose to rely on my advice.0 -

What im saying is can they just stop offering it, even though that was the reason i took the contract out because of this service?I never used the service, despite being on t-mobile.
