I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right0 -
'only 10%' like they say in the article sounds very optimistic and for first time buyers in some overblown areas that wouldnt be good news I guess
I dont think it'll be that simple but if they do offer alot of mortgages to people on good terms maybe it'll be true0 -

How can anyone believe house prices are suddenly going to start rising, but hardly anyone, except 2 idiots, believe that the recession is nearly finished:

Ramping the property market like this is nearly as stupid as saying the recession is going to end next month. They should be too embarrassed to even suggest it, because its insane.0 -
I don't think so. http://zerohedge.blogspot.com/2009/04/incredibly-shrinking-market-liquidity.html .
I think we are heading towards a major market dislocation myself, and I'm all out of the market. Look for another OS moment in July / August.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I think it was The Express that made up most of that huge list of headlines that Cat695 posted a couple of weeks back, for example
1. House pirces recovering.
2. House prices dip.
3. House prices are flattening.
4. House prices crumble.
Repeat...... as necessary for 6 years from peak. These headlines are laughable and just shows what short memories newspaper editors have. In fact Cat 695, what you sould do is print out a copy of those headlines and fax them to all the major newspapers, then add at the bottom of the list a nice smiley face.
