Google gave me a way to bypass it :)

    Searching for channels now.

is there a volume control on the box as well as the tv?

Does the scart cable have ALL the pins in? (Some are picture only)

Is the scart fully connected? (might be loose?)

There is a volume control using the remote for both TV and freeview box, both have been turned up.

Yes all the pins are in and yes it is fully connected. Am I doomed to buying a new one you think?

:rotfl: I think we have broken it. We done a master reset and now it just comes up with the Sagem Digital TV Box opening screen and just keeps flashing now and then. Won't let us do a thing. Have unplugged it and put it back on but it doesn't work. Oh well :rotfl:

Edit: Managed to get it back and channels scanned again and still no volume.

Nope, it just won't work. My professional opinion is that it's broke :rotfl:

    After all that!

If your getting a picture I cant see JUST the sound not working. (Although if u bought it off ebay and never actually tried it out, its possible I suppose)

Took it all off and the TV volume is definately on so it must have been the box.

Will have a look for a new one. Thanks anyway :)

Try a different Scart Lead before you take it back.;)
