old sky box as freeview??

Hi
We changed from sky to sky+ months ago and have just decided to hook up our old box in another room in the hope that we'll get the freeview channels.

The only channels we can get are BBC1,2,3,4, ITV1,2,3, Channel 4, more 4 and channel 5. It asks for a sky card for all the others. I dont think we have our old card anymore so what's the cheapest way to get the other freeview channels?

If you buy a "Freesat from Sky" card, the only additional channels it allows are Five, Fiver and Five US and possibly Sky 3. You can't get all the Freeview Channels on Freesat (yet...)
If you can find your old card this will do the same thing. What a lot of people don't know is that an old box or card can take up to 24 hours (switched on or in standby) to find all the available channels.

The Freesat channels should include ITV4, Film 4, CBBC, Cbeebies, CITV, POP, tinypop as well as their +1 versions where available.

Just go through and set up your 'favourites' and then use TV Guide, Blue button to view a filtered list..

The £20 Freesat from Sky card will enable SKY to encourage you to sign up (or try for free) with incentives, but if you are already a subscriber, it's a waste of money.
