argghhh after 8 minutes on hold got through to customer services. you pay 17.50 rental first three months, then £35 remaining 9 months. but you claim cash back at 6 and then 12 months. the contract can then be cancelled and you can keep the phone. IS THIS A GOOD OFFER???

:( No idea if it's worth it or not but it's lost it's shine for me. £2.99 out your account every month is fine for a phone you don't really need in the first place, lol....but £35 is just daft (for me that is). :)

I havent heard of that company before but even if you did want to take the risk of them fulfilling the cashback deal that particular phone is really bad in my experience. Texts not being recieved and switching itself off for hours sometimes a day or more but as the year went on the reception was so bad it was impossible to continue a conversation because you could not hear one word being said. I was put off having three again thinking it was the network but I've just taken the risk of another 12 months contract with them and a different phone and the reception is fine now so it was the phone. My daughter had the same phone and same problems
    Thanx

I was on three for about a week its the crappiest network out, it would probably take all your minutes just to say what time you would be home for tea, my connection was horrendous everytime i finally managed to make a call i would get cut off  best £2-99 saving you'll ever make, keep it in your purse :rotfl:

Personally I only go with bigger companies like carphonewarehouse, e2save, phones4u, thelink, as there is no guarantees you will get your cashback!

It depends where you are - For me it beats all the others I have had before (O2, Orange, Vodafone) for signal quality and strength of signal, but that is just in my area. Each service provider is different for each area dependant on mast locations.

£2.99 per month is a pretty good deal - though you can sometimes get better - Mine cost zero when cashback taken into account.

There is nothing wrong with cashback schemes at all - just choose form a company that has been around for a while for a bit more security ! Onsstopphoneshop, carphonewarehouse and the link all meet this criteria and have all had good offers from time to time. I have used all 3 of them with no problem whatsoever.
    To infinity and beyond!

Whilst this may hold true, you don't know whether or not these "big" companies will guarantee to give you these cashbacks, as they could close down at any time and so you may lose out. However the reality is that this is rather unlikely and you should be fine, but in today's climate of takeovers and closures it may just be possible.
