I thing its just buggy drivers when it looks like its working for a second. Have you tried totally uninstalling drivers and reinstalling?
  • I have reinstalled the drivers but nothing. I have removed the Belkin software and re-installed and still nothing. I can't seem to think of any explanation as to why it is being so annoying. I could literally stamp on the thing!! Why is it working sometimes but most of the time not?!

If you're in a position to, take the whole lot back and nip down to staples, they do belkin routers and cards quite cheap.

After visiting the Belkin site to look for specific manuals to download, I wouldn't touch Belkin stuff with a barge pole myself! I only buy from manufacturers who supply manuals for download before you make a purchase so that you can see exactly what you are getting.

The original poster has actually given very little information as to exactly what he/she has done to try to resolve this problem, so more information is required to make any progress.

Seems to me like the USB dongle m'jobby has a problem. Can you try the USB dongle on another machine?

If its blinking blue and going to red then and going back to blue then its connecting/dropping from your router.

Tried updating the motherboard USB drivers? Can't see it though...
