Re. maternity pads...I bought Asda ones yesterday. Are you going to tell me that they are the worst ever and only Boots ones do the job properly?????
I did only buy one pack of 10 (needed to make up my baby shop to £15 to use the Bounty voucher - Elle, yep they are still in the Bounty bags) so I can go and buy Boots ones too if they are the ones to have.
If not, I'll probably end up getting a few more packs of Tesco ones unless they are really awful as I can get to Tesco more easily than Boots.0 -
I could hear my mobile ringing faintly just then , had a look around me without getting up..could i find it ? nooooo and why not .... ...I was sat on it and didnt notice! Think my bottoms got bigger , im blaming the baby.
Chopsticks - I've bought tesco ones too they looked ok when i opened them but will buy the boots ones too as I've always needed a fair few.0 -
helen81 - I think you've made ur mind up now but I personally would want to take my LO's in with me, Chris came to all my scans (even 'emergency' one at 6wks although not in the room) he has seen scans on tv and knew straight away what was on the screen at my 12wk one
I'm sure as urs are older they will either be so not fussed or really excited and I doubt you could hide it from them, don't u see the MWs after ur scan at ur hosp? we do here...Is it true, that you get bad heartburn if they have lots of hair? :rotfl:and I've got the burn even worse this time and bubba had a full thick head of hair visible on my scan!
Thanks for the welcomes! I had my coil removed on 23rd Feb so it all happened v.quickly, possibly a good job in case i changed my mind
Hopefully this one will be as trouble free as DS1.
(No sickness, just indigestion, 1hr labour from waters to birth)
Somehow i can't see me being that lucky twice
I'm hoping for a labour like ur first for this one, my first/last labour was 7hrs from waters to birth and I was fully expecting the whole being in pain for like 24hrs!!:shocked:searching_me wrote: »what are sloggies???? x
My mum wears sloggis so I won't be going there  I'm like glam hipster ones that cover ur bum (my bum is always cold) I can't stand thongs anymore *yuk* I always wore them until I was preg with Chris and then went on to the hipsters and never looked back!!
I was 20 when I got preg with Chris and always felt like people were looking at me as if I was a teen mum but looking back I actually don't think they were.
I did feel weird at the parent craft class in feb when I was the only one there who already had a child and I think there was only one person younger than me in the class - but then I also appeared to be the only one who had any clue about having a baby even though some of them were 2 or 3 months further on than me!!
I don't get how you can get preg and reach like 7mths and not know some really basic stuff?maybe its just me who like to know it all:p
