Skinty - We have a travel cot for when Chris stayed at grandparents but the whole thing is pretty heavy so I wouldn't want to lug it all the way to italy (via a plane obv!)
I think the pop up travel crib would be the best option for you as a moses basket would be really hard to take as I assume it would need to go in the hold and there for in a box or something to stop it getting squished.
We went to austria when Chris was 13mths and even though he was very used to sleeping in a travel cot he wouldn't sleep in the hotel one even with our own blankets (we took ones off his actual bed so the smelt of his bed) he spent every night in our bed with us kicking me to death :rolleyes:
I would recommend taking ur pram unless ur planning to babywear esp if ur pram has a cary cot that is fine for sleeping overnight in, it really is very easy to take a pram on a plane (best bit about flying with babies is ur one of the first on/off :cool:)
I was going to use a sling, as Positano is very, very hilly and the apartments are up a load of steps! Didn;t fancy taking a pram for that reason.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Skinty, agree the pop up would be a lot easier to take than a moses... And lightweight... I'd see if you could get it second hand though, it's a bit pricey for something that might only be used once...
Here's my bag:
Was planning to put a bit more on the pockets but it was actually quite difficult with the shape of them and the bulkyness of the gemagic... Plus I was worried about over doing it... What do you think?A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
