I know where the train station is in comparison to the shopping and thats about it !!!!!!!!!!!

I can get you to city hospital, but that wouldnt be much use !!!!!

The Royal is straight forward enough but it's been a good 8 years since i was last at it when DD was born. The rest i wouldn't have a clue.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

no vanilla as long as everything is ok im having a homebirth i know the sheffield hospitals are great they took great care of me when i had an ectopic but i want to be home x

A homebirth would be brillant, your own bed, could stick the kettle on after (well get OH to), being left just as a family and not have hubby sent home. Now that would be bliss.

omg where do i start ... at one point there was no midwives on the ward as it was change over my sister had to find one for me ... in the middle of very bad contraction they couldnt care less and just said hasnt she got paracetomol ... from the time i was admitted to the time i was put in the labour room i saw only 2 docs i was there 12 hours before i was put in labour room ... then in the labour room the midwives were running inbetween rooms one of them just kept giving me drugs telling me i had loads of time to go ... i was given an epidural its meant to last 1hr it was lasting 20mins when i told her this she said it was just me ... then at midnight when they changed over the then midwife (a good one finally but she was the head) felt about then asked why i had still been given drugs as i should of been pushing as she could feel zoes ear  ... and that before after well could really care is some of the words id use x

Could someone please answer my question back on page 162 about my letter to work regarding Occupational Mat Pay?

I know it was a bit of a long post :o
I think its sound good :)
I was in a good mood... I had a nice Dr... And I am a surprise girl... Which means I can play at guessing because we don't know :p
both my boys have been consistently between 140 and 150 bpm nice n lazy ;) although many a MW has told me that it changes so much through out preg its not at all reliable as its based on the fact that adult males/females have diff hb's -although for us its the wrong way around as hubby has a really fast hb coz he's such a stress head (he was on beta blockers when I first met him:shocked:) and my heart is soo laid back it beats as and when it can be bothered :rotfl:

Someone mentioned that they have lots of naked cuddles with OH so that he feels part of bubba more, this is what I meant rather than skin to skin contact after birth. I told OH I wanted him to feel my bump close against him - I'm trying to make it more OUR pregnancy IYSWIM.
When I mentioned him doing skin to skin after birth if I can't he said 'Eurgh they better wash it first' - hello that's not the point! ...
My hubby wouldn't let my 'end of a hotdog' belly button anywhere need his skin!

Glad i am normal. Skin to skin? Naked in front of everyone - oh god - i can't think that far ahead.
My OH finds it hilarious to remind me how he had just got over seeing Chris come out of down there and next thing he knew I was "shoving him into my boobs that were out for all to see" :rotfl:every doctor/nurse/MW etc in my area has prob seen my boobs n bits by now so I'm really not fussed anymore - I NEVER thought I'd ever be like that but its amazing how much having a baby changes you:cool:
is it ok that im starting to get a little worried everytime i actually think of giving birth :undecided x
I'm pooping my pants!!! how did it get so close???

Just checked and My friends scan has confirmed her pelvis is too small for natural delivery so she's booked in for a c/s 19th May, So I should get to meet her lovely bubs before I get mine :T she also bumped into the other girl who we worked with (in our 4 person office) and she is due in six weeks same as me - It would have been so funny if we were all still there with our matching bumps!!
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

When DD was taken up to the Royal, the ambulance driver said that they would put the blue lights on for the traffic and i think we were up there in about 30 minutes from craigavon, we just stayed tight behind them. We didn't know where it was so thought we better.

I'm dreading arriving at Craigavon and being told to go to Belfast.
Hopefully we'll both just go to the hospital that we know.
