oh and I kept the pram in the kitchen or 'solarium' (sounds much posher than it actually is ) as our hall is actually about 3ft square :rolleyes: but buggy is nice n small and light now so lives in the boot of car so I don't get the lounge carpet even grubbier by dragging the thing through it to get to the kitchen (kids and beige carpets REALLY don't mix!!)
We were taken to the airport by our friend's (who came with us) brother so he kindly used our carseat and kept it at his house until he came to pick us up again - I hated that we had arranged our own taxi transfer from holiday airport to hotel with a car seat and they didn't provide one!!:mad: I was on tenterhooks (sp?) for the whole 1.5hr drive!!:(
Air ports don't have locker's anymore (I think) it's security risk coz terrorists could put a bomb in one :shocked:

What is the phil n teds? Where would I buy it or get a link for it?

REally don;t know how we are going to get to the airport if they don;t have lockers! My blooming parents - could kill them for getting their dates wrong!

LOL That's the bumpy cord going over his shoulder It goes down in front of his face then over his shoulder so he doesn't look like he's got very smooth shoulders..

2 possible things to do - take you car seat with - you might not need it for travelling in italy but might be usefulanyway at times there, to put the baby in for short times (if you don't have the use of a bouncy chair or the like)

Another possibilty is that you can take your car seat in the taxi with you and ask the taxi company to hold it for you in their office until you return and then come back to the airport with it when they collect you. I have done this twice before and it has been fine both times with different taxi firms.
