    Afternoon ladies and welcome newbies!

Just got back from a trip to Mamas and Papas. We bought the Pram, car seat and car seat base, so we now have all the baby's "big things", wohoo! We decided to go for the Pilko Pramette in the end, as it gives us more room in the car boot when folded up. Dh says he is going to put it up tomorrow to have a little play with it and I can't wait! :j

I can't believe I am almost 30 weeks pregnant, it seems like yesterday when I joined this thread! I only have 10 weeks to go till my due date, and I am really starting to panic about the actual labour part now.

Ooh yay! I want that pram and travel system but we haven;t been to see it yet. Is it easy to push?

I know what you mjean about counting down - we are 27 weeks on Monday so that's only 13 weeks to go! It's scary said like that. I am beginning to realise I am going to have to give birth  :rotfl:

thanks glam. i knew you were having your scan before me. have you heard heartbeat yet??

yeah we get a 19 week scan rather than a 20 week scan.

I heard heartbeat at 16 weeks when I went to see Consultant for my waste of time appointment. Was amazing how fast it is!!!

    Afternoon!!

I'm 37 weeks today, and now I'm panicking just thinking about the birth, yyeoouchh!!!

Went to Matalan before and got a pack of 2 bras, not wired, but full support. I've got one on now and it's not too bad to be honest ~ bargain too, £7 for the pack!

Been naughty and stopped for Maccys on the way home. I had a Big Mac meal and I'm stuffed now which is not like me at all (normally they don't fill me up at all), so I guess my stomach has been taken over by my son and/or his home lol!!

When we got out of the car going to Matalan, I couldn't walk at all. Had to ask Dad and daughter to go on ahead because I had really bad twinges. Luckily they went after a couple of minutes ~ don't think I would have liked my first contractions in the middle of a car park!

our scan will be when i'm 21 weeks so not long to go. :D

will find out then as well if i am having extra scans to check the growth. tbh i wouldnt mind as i will get to see baby more often. mw doesnt think i will need them but have to wait for consultant.

i'd be Ok if I cooked everything in kitchen and finished it off but it's not the same.

Hey Tia - I'm a sausage girl at BBQ's!! I also love Kebabs - my dad used to buy them in Kwik Save where they had the butchers at the back with loads of packs of meat - chilli beef ones or mint lamb ones.

I want a BBQ now!!!! Roll on the summer - I'll just invite myself round to other people's BBQ's and gatecrash them, they woouldn't deny a pg lady would they? :rotfl:

It is really light and easy to push and it folds down quite small. The shop assistant was incredibly helpful and lovely, she let us push it out the shop, round the car park and try getting it in and out of the car boot. She also showed us how to fit the car seat and did a full demonstration of the pram. Although the car seat is on the heavy side, I won't be carrying it often myself (thats what Dh is for ;)!)

I don't need to be under the consultant now which is good from a practical point of view but would have been nice to have more scans just to see Bean. I can't believe that after the 19 week scan I'll have to wait til birth to see him/her again - unless I talk OH into a private scan ;)
