    Hi ladies,
Have finally managed to read until the end of the old (short!) thread and all of the new thread. I started at 5:45 and read til I picked DH from the pub at 7pm (slightly worse for wear and repeating things he'd told me 10 minutes previously). We picked up a KFC on the way home - mmm haven't had one for ages and was so lovely. DH now gone to bed!!, so have caught up on the remaining posts and am now completely up to date.

slscarborough - in the old thread you mentioned Caitlin Rose as a name - that is one of the names on our list!!

Sami - sorry to hear about your dog hun :(

Angela - thanks for letting me know about you baby girl's position, it's put my inquisitive mind at ease :D

Does anyone else's thank you button appear and disappear at random times? Please don't think I'm being ignorant if I haven't thanked anyone - it's just that I can't sometimes!

I hope people aren't offended at me asking this but does anyone have a link to a site where you can view survival rates of babies born early? I found a site ages ago which listed the % chance of survival week by week but I can't find it any more.

    so anything to suggest x

I made my list a couple of weeks ago. We haven't bought much of the small stuff yet (but have cotbed and travel system) as we're waiting to finish the nursery so can put stuff in there straight away.

I'll dig out my list and post it in a few minutes. It is very long!!!

Chopsticks, I think feellie might know of one... She likes her facts and figures... I've only just come across the odd statistic whilst reading up...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Also, can I still fly at about 20 or 21 weeks?

    A xo

I am flying to Rome at 32 weeks, not really by choice but hubby thought it was romantic to book a last 'just the 2 of us' holiday! When he has to hoist me up and roll me down the aeroplane steps and I have to go to the loo every 30 seconds on the flight, it will put romance firmly out of his mind.

I am flying with Ryan air and I know that they require a letter from GP/MW when you are over 28wks confirming you are fit to fly. If you think you might look larger than your actual weeks it might be worth getting a note just in case as they can still turn you away if they dont believe you.

    I found this page helpful:
    http://www.babylink.info/edinburgh/BabyOnUnit/Outcome.aspx

It is just based on one unit, but it gives real figures for weeks 23 to 36. I found it helpful to know real numbers.

    OK, here goes....

    Feeding
    - Bottles and teats (I am planning to BF but want a couple of bottles just in case I can't for any reason)
    - V pillow and case
    - Steriliser
    - Sterlising tablets/liquid
    - Breast pump
    - Muslins x 12 (two packs of 6 for £7 in Tesco)
    - Bibs x 14 (this is the number we have been given already - I haven't bought any!)
    - Nursing bras
    - Breast pads

    Changing
    - Nappy bin (probably won't bother with this)
    - Nappy sacks
    - Changing mat
    - Baby wipes
    - Nappy cream
    - Changing bag

    Bathing
    - Bath (got given this so will see how we get on, but will probably end up using normal bath to be honest)
    - Storage box
    - Hooded bath towels x4
    - Sponge
    - Flannels
    - Nail scissors
    - Brush and comb
    - Cotton wool balls
    - Cotton buds
    - Shampoo
    - Lotion
    - Baby bath
    - Body wash (I know none of the shampoo/lotion/baby bath/body wash is necessary and I will be using plain water to begin with)
    - Thermometer

    Nursery
    - Moses basket and mattress
    - Cot bed and mattress
    - Moses basket bedding
    - Cot bed bedding
    - Chest of drawers
    - Shelves
    - Sleeping bags x2
    - Mobile
    - Cot bumper
    - Night light (so I don't have to turn the main light on when feeding/changing at night)
    - Curtains
    - Blackout blind
    - Lightshade
    - Rug
    - Border
    - Pictures for walls
    - Room thermometer

    Other bits
    - Dummies
    - Sun cream
    - Blinds for car windows (have been given two)
    - Travel system
    - Bouncing chair

I know we are probably going waaaay overboard but I'm a first-time mummy :o
