    Hiya
Just used some of the body butters in the Sanctuary Nourishing Body Treats (Pic courtesy of ebay, not mine, lol) in my stash.....yes I know, I actually used some!!:rotfl: Well, I was thinking, who do I know who would appreciate one of these as a gift, I know I certainly would.....so why am I not using it? Anyway, they are really lovely, especially the souffle one, so just thought I'd tempt those of you who are currently just admiring them to open one up and pamper yourself.

ETA Big thanks to SandraScarlett for her review on Ped eggs and also to MYLITTLESISTERLOLA for the ebay link, I've ordered one too and it arrived this morning, they should give you commission! Lol

Yep, a big thank you from me as well to both SandraScarlett, for her review on Ped egss and to MYLITTLESISTERLOLA, for the ebay link. I had been umming and ahhing about getting one of these for ages, but not sure they would actually work and be worth the £9.99 price tag (in Boots). So great to hear the postive feedback from SandraScarlett, and then the fab price on ebay from MYLITTLESISTERLOLA. Thank you to you both, I will let you know when I recieve mine and what I think of them.
  • I am so glad to know that all my Bootsing Sisters will have Tremendous Tootsies this Summer!

Can I also endorse the souffle from Sanctuary, (I totally agree Jellybaby!) as the perfect nourishment for your post -pedegged-toes. The texture, I think, is fab and feels very luxurious - just the sort of thing I lurve!!

    xx
  • went to Boots warrington yesterday - very unimpressed:o only thing they did have was the polar deo for 20p, oops and they also had so EA stuff reduced to £5 and £10 so if anyone wanted the GWP?

got some of the boots foot treatments so thanks to the OP who said about them being BOGOHP. got 2 for under £3;) also bought to Scholl foot spray for 84p ( for OH obviously;)) and some athlete foot cream for 88p ( for OH's son;))

There was a hazy fog in my room for about 1/2 hour - surely thats not healthy!!

Hi girlies! A huge thanks to BALLETSHOES for pointing out the clearance section in the FOOTCARE stuff. Saw a few things this morning, but most of it had been emptied out by someone. Oh well. Not the end of the world I guess.

Thanks for GEORDIE_LASS for the clear up re: points on .com. Gosh, ain't everyone (well almost everyone!) on here just lovely! It's like a big happy family that help each other out. I told my Mom about you guys and she was like WOW!

Have fun shopping girls! PS. Have cashed up £30 worth of Boots vouchers on IPSOS and £10 on Valued Opinions. Happy days! Woohoo. Still have £120 to cash up with Consumer Pulse, but they don't do Boots vouchers. Boohiss!

I also asked this a while ago & Angie reassured me it would be fine. I've tried it twice now & really like it so have to agree. I did what she suggested & used a good sun cream too, WHEN it was out :D

    Hi Westy

Glad you liked the peel and got on well with it. It really gives a fresh faced look doesn't it.:T

When anyone receives the ped egg from eBay, can you post a review and a link of the item you got? I was going to get one I saw on hotukdeals (it was probably the eBay one), but in the comments many people noted that they had bought a cheap one and even though it said ped egg (I think they actually said Ped egg), it was obviously not the same thing as a more expensive one they had and didn't work nearly as well. There are apparently imitations out there, and some of them aren't great.

    Hiya skibster

This is the Ped Egg off Ebay that I got. The packaging certainly looks identical to the one on Boots.com, just fished it out of recylcing to double check. ;)
I haven't used it extensively but did try it out quickly on my heel and it seemed to do the trick but I suppose if people are comparing it to a superior product that I haven't tried then my experience is limited. It's quite clever of the fakers if they are using the same packaging...maybe I've been done, lol.

I can say that I wouldn't pay a tenner for it but I'm miserly :rotfl:
    HTH

ETA I just clicked straight through from the link posted earlier on here and as it was so cheap ordered one more or less straightaway but there are others selling them if you're bothered about feedback - I usually check more carefully but having said that it's pretty easy nowadays to end up with neg FB and my delivery, etc was excellent.

    Hiya everyone,

Just thought I'd mention this to all who don't know.

Did you know about Bonjela not to be given to under 16s??

"One of the most popular treatments for mouth ulcers, Bonjela, should not be given to children under 16 as it could increase the risk of them developing a potentially fatal brain and liver disease, a health watchdog said."

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2009/apr/23/bonjela-reyes-syndrome-children

    Link to Boots
    http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/s....catalogId=11051
Suitable for Adults and Children 16 years and over.

It's been mentioned on other places as well + I noticed the sign next to the bonjelas in Boots about not to be given to under 16 yr olds. Sorry if you knew, but thought I'd mention it anyway, just in case.

    Angel xxx

Just in case anyone doesn't read the Guardian article, I'd like to mention that this warning does not apply to the Bonjela Teething Gel. It contains a different formula and is therefore still considered safe for use on people under the age of 16. I know that with a 5 and a half month baby, this is a relief as I have been using it on his sore gums and was worried when I heard all the news about Bonjela. Hope this helps someone.
