  • Thanks for posting that rukicruki - I will be looking out for our Skymag now. I don't usually read it either so I would never have spotted that! I usually only open the cover up when I stick it in the recycling :o. Well spotted. You must have a Bootsing guardian angel who guided you to it!

Received Skymag (may-june) today and dont know why started to read it (i usualy dont). And found voucher for 33% off James Brown haircare products (page 41). Could be used only at Boots from 1 May until 30 June.
Would be nice to use it together with £2 off from mailing.

Out of interest, if I were to purchase an item for £20.00 on .com and it says you will get 750 extra points for buying it, would I still get the 80 points on my actual spend or does that not happen? Also, do they have any of those "spend £40 and get an extra xxx points" on .com running? Sorry, I am an almost virgin when it comes to .com, don't understand it.
Mimi, this one's a bit confusing, for some items you get both normal points and bonus points and others just the bonus points.

For example, I just added two Clarins products to my basket and only got the 1000 bonus points, no regular points. I then added 10 Natural Collection items and got 250 bonus points plus 196 regular points

No idea how this works but to confuse it even more, when I add 4 Clarins items I get 2000 bonus points although the offer is for 1000 points WYB 2 or more Clarins items. The NC bonus points however are only 250 points even when I buy 10 items.

    Confused? You will be :D

Thankyou for all the info I managed some bargains today

Maragret Dabbs that was on BOGOHP bought the foot oil, foot soak, foot scrub and the cuticle oil.

Sanctuary flannel, cellulite massager, sisal wash thingy and the face sponge all reduced.

Mr Mascara sets flannel/toothbrush and the exfoliating gloves.

Used all my £2.00 vouchers on Bourjois tweezers, glass nail files and sharpeners., SA said I don't think it will work and I asked her to try, even she was surprised.

Not much on clearance Jemma Kidd wipes £1.50, some toothbrushes and loads of Skin Doctors face care £10.00.

Lots of jewellery and hair accessories half price.

No Russian or Daisy bags on the shelf.

I rarely get many bargains in my Boots so was really pleased with my haul.

whilst i remember i wanted to check about mini mode. as far as i was aware you do not get points when you buy their stuff (im holding out on buying any till i get a catalogue voucher) but in one of the two stores i visited this week they had triple points signs up on all the mini mode clothes (not anything else in store). So does that mean I can get points if I buy from that store???

The triple points started on the day I went in to spend my voucher and it definitely works, even on all the sale stuff and even with the extra 20% off from the magazine voucher. I ended up with over 7 pounds worth of points on my card after my litle shop. HTH

looks like it, thats 2 of us that it didnt work for, i did get the triple points though cheers merdoom I just mis-read it :o

I read it as the SA wouldn't take the 20% off voucher rather than it not working but if you are saying that it didn't work for you the other day I think I must just have been really lucky that I bought all my stuff on the first day of the extra points promotion as there was no problem with the discount then at all...much better to get the extra 20% off than the points, so a shame if the voucher is not working due to this extra promotion.

    TIA

An SA told me last week that Health Club will be only for over 60s at the end of this month. I still got my discount in store. I know some people have always had a problem with health club discounts online and had to cancel health club and sign up again to get the discount. I wouldn't do that now though as I think it already isn't letting people sign up for health club and it is only existing members that still get the discount until the end of the month.

Hi everyone, this is my first post and I would just like to say a great big huge THANK YOU to all you lovely ladies for taking the time to post all of your fantastic bargains on this thread! I am totally addicted to reading about all of your fabulous finds and offers and glitches and stuff. I never knew there were so many big bargains in boots or had never used the ACM before, but used it today and got the high-lights voucher and the half price peel voucher but I noticed on the vouchers it says you can only use one voucher per transaction so as i'm not an experienced bootster I was too scared to use the both of them:eek:. Do you need a SS till to use two vouchers at once or can you go to a regular till and the SA will accept them? TIA
