Hi everyone, went to both boots in bury this morning

    Millgate Boots

Clearance: Not great tbh - some tights, a few pouches of soltan once suncream spf30 for £1.17, mini mouthwashes and various other bits. No 7 clearance stand had some aftersun (£4.43), mens gwp, cosmetic purse with mirror and blusher brush, and lipsticks (£4.xx). Didnt spot any gwps lying around, no reduced natural collection bags and i didnt see any reduced footstuff :(

    Bought:
    No 7 Illuminating Powder - £10
    2 x No 7 aftersun -£4.43 each (1 free on 342)
    Maxfactor Eyebrow Pencil - £3.31

    Total: £18.35 - £10 free powder voucher - £2 cosmetic voucher

    Spent - £6.35
    Saved - £16.43
    Points - 24
Plus got a £5 skincare voucher and a survey

    **Survey note**
If you fill it in online, in the box where it asks for comments, remember to name any sa's who are helpful (maybe don't explain that they let you use vouchers when youre not supposed to though!!)
Don't know if this applies to all stores but sa's who get a mention by a customer get a free gift so its a nice way to get them rewarded :)

    Retail park

Clearance: Even worse. A few No 7 bits - creams cosmetic purses. Nothing else i could see.

    Bought:

2 x Garnier summerbody dark tan moisturiser - £2.44 each (half price)
Time Delay tan moisturiser - £5.86

    Total: £10.74 - £5 skincare voucher

    Spent: £5.74
    Points: 20
    Plus: £5 skincare voucher

Got some good bargains, but boots definitely need to improve their offers - might tell them so on the survey!

Good luck everyone, hope someone else manages to grab some goodies :)
I enjoy money-saving and am slowly entering the world of online earnings - aiming to pay for Christmas 2015 from extra income earned in 2015.
    So far: Bubblews £16.19 . Swagbucks £25, Neobux £1.29, Clixsense -.
Freebies/wins 2015: 2 x Convent Garden soup boosters, mini L'Oreal foundation, LG smartphone, mini Clinique face wash.

I got Roxy Love perfume set of perfume and body lotion for £4.99 today. It was priced at £5 but went tghrough at £4.99 and scuppered my plans to get a skin voucher.
But looking at my receipt it has remembered my meal deal purchases as yesterday it didn't recognise my card so my next one will be free.
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

thats rubbish!! i thought youd get 20% off full price and then triple points. if they are not going to honor these offers its cheaper for me to shop online as i have a 20% off mini mode site if I spend £20.

The triple points started on the day I went in to spend my voucher and it definitely works, even on all the sale stuff and even with the extra 20% off from the magazine voucher. I ended up with over 7 pounds worth of points on my card after my litle shop. HTH

thanks so much - a very kind person is mailing me a spare mini mode voucher - yippee :j:T:j so once its here i will be going baby stuff bargain hunting to get all the clothes i need for birthdays and xmas this year. this year i am just getting small things for adults so at this rate ill have all the xmas shop done by june as ive already got some little things put back from mystery shopping too :D trying to get eveerything as early as possible as then we want to save up for a special cruise/holiday for next year when my son finishes his exams (we were supposed to be saving for wedding but just cant afford it so giving up on that idea .... if only i could get what i needed with boots points and offers we would be able to manage it :rotfl:)

will let you all know how i get on with my mini mode shop .... might be a bit of a delay as weve got romantic weekend away for once

Thanks for the link, I too have just ordered one! Bargain!

Regarding the Pedegg, for those of you who live near Southampton. I noticed these are being sold on Eastliegh market for £3.99 they are the genuine ones. The reason I didn't buy one is I had no fedback, now I think I will buy one.

    Hiya skibster

This is the Ped Egg off Ebay that I got. The packaging certainly looks identical to the one on Boots.com, just fished it out of recylcing to double check. ;)
I haven't used it extensively but did try it out quickly on my heel and it seemed to do the trick but I suppose if people are comparing it to a superior product that I haven't tried then my experience is limited. It's quite clever of the fakers if they are using the same packaging...maybe I've been done, lol.

I can say that I wouldn't pay a tenner for it but I'm miserly :rotfl:
    HTH

ETA I just clicked straight through from the link posted earlier on here and as it was so cheap ordered one more or less straightaway but there are others selling them if you're bothered about feedback - I usually check more carefully but having said that it's pretty easy nowadays to end up with neg FB and my delivery, etc was excellent.

Thats the same one I bought. Its not yet arrived, but I really hope its an original one and not a 'fake'. Might have to take mine into Boots when it does arrirve and compare the two !

Didn't mean to worry anyone, I just hate to spend even a few quid if it's not going to work well. I looked up the hotukdeals thing for more info, and the ped egg they were talking about was being sold at dealextreme. One person got theirs and said it was not the real thing and not too great, either (post). Another posted pics that show what the real thing looks like (post). I guess it's hard to say unless you compare it to one you know is the real deal, but the pic on eBay sure looks real (the one on dealextreme also said ped egg professional on the egg, but they didn't show the packaging like the eBay one does, so I'd say the ebay looks like a better bet).

Is this item good to use if you just have a few slightly rough spots? It may be more fierce than I need anyway, thanks to all the lovely foot creams from boots.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but there's a new protect and perfect intense serum due out this week, so maybe there'll be some vouchers to promote it???
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1174337/The-19-anti-wrinkle-cream-set-cause-stampede-Boots-scientists-claim-DOES-actually-work.html

Apparently it's a relaunch and renaming of the refine and rewind serum (bottom of this article):

If refine and rewind is still in stores, maybe the old version will be reduced!
  • birmingham boots,
bullring had lots of reduced perfumes, perfume body lotions etc near perfume section.
they still have the sanctuary sento handwash for nearly £2
    nc wash bags for £1.23
    didnt see anything else.

boots high street had LOADS of no7 tubed lipglosses, double ended ones and lipsticks around £4-£4.75
the stay perfect liquid foundation has been reduced to £3.50 as well as the compact one and the age foundation one too. NO7

and you can use the £5 acm voucher on it too when you buy 3, still works even with teh 342 making the total cost £2!!!!

bargain as it would normally be around £45 for 3.
