Hosting a business and some personal websites

Options
Hi

Myself and my family have a number of personal websites which are coming up for renewal in 2 months' time. I've been hosting on a mates server but he wants it back!

One of the sites is a business site, the other 4 are personal. I really need:

1. Domain forwarding (.co.uk => .com)
2. MySQL db
3. Content management/e-commerce etc
4. Possibly support for chat rooms
5. Support for mailing list
6. SMTP
7. At least 20 mailboxes
8. 100mb or so of diskspace (able to upgrade)
9. 10GB or so of bandwith (for a small e-business, don't know if thats too much ?)
10. Some scripting (not fussed about ASP but would like PHP/PERL)
11. Really good support - don't want the business site offline!

Erm, anything else you can think of ;) 34sp.com want £10-ish per month, can I do better than this ?

Sounds good, how do you contact their support ? I'll admit, my nervous buddy prefers a UK company, how do they compare ?

Update: Ooops just realised they are based in Preston, which is on my doorstep ;)

You may want to try jamroll.co.uk for your personal sites. They're really great and free. They meet your requirementrs.

As they don't offer a service level agreement of any kind I can't advise you to put your business site on there. However I can't fault them a single bit and I know other users of this site will support my statement.

Well you can e-mial them or use their call logging on their site (you click the "exsisting users" link :)
I've found them to be very good and I think it's now the third year I have been with them... They put up with an awful lot from me to be honest so I'd recommend them to anyone ;) I have had them install loads of bits and bobs so that the server hosting my sites is compatible with the forum software I use (which was in Beta when I first installed it). Yes hey are based in the UK but charge in US $. Never really bothered to ask why to be honest :rotfl: but I am sure it must be to do with tax etc. If you look on their users list somewhere on their site then you should find one of my sites listed: https://www.animal-rescuers.com :) oh and if you include a link on your web page to say "hosted by etc etc" then they increase some of your stuff for free as thanks for the advertising :)
