ok really simple one and feel a little silly for asking it but I am not sure what my sort code and account number is for my A&L direct ISA issue 4 is... All I seem to have is an 11 digit - direct isa lssue 4 'number'... which starts with 391
and is in the format of 391-000000-00
I am wanting to transfer it to my natwest e-ISA, but dont have the sort code and account number that its asking for on the form. Some guidance would be much appreciated!!

According to the link below the sort code is 72-58-10 for transfers in. I can't see why it should be any different for transfers out.
The account number is the 11 digit number.
It may well be worth a phone call to A&L to make absolutely sure.

Bubblesbonbon is correct.
For some reason best known to themselves, the sort code isn't on any of the paperwork/statements that A&L send out. I had to get it from the confirmation email A&L sent me last year for the transfer-in I did to them!0 -
I was asked for a sort code when I transferred out of Principality - couldn't find it so left it blank - transfer still went OK.0

Account number is 00000000 (they are 8-digits and not 11), your 11-digit account will go as "reference" and then the sort code which is 725810.0 -
This is no good when you are filling an ISA transfer form out that only accepts 8-digit account numbers and no reference however

Just put in the long account number, writing on top of the boxes if necessary! The transfer form is posted to the previous provider, not sent electronically, so what's important is it's sent in the form the previous provider uses, not what the new one does.Colin_London wrote: »This is no good when you are filling an ISA transfer form out that only accepts 8-digit account numbers and no reference however
