I'm hoping some kind MSE'er can answer my question - a friend of mine has given me some clubcard 'extra points' coupons that she got with her mailing but won't use - can I use them or will they not go through because the name on her vouchers is different from my card.

    TIA xx

yes you can use them ;)
use with your keyfob or go to the self scan tills
most SA's dont notice / look to match the number ,and the keyfob doesnt have a name on it :)

Rachie B ...... thanks for that ...... didn't think about using keyfob ! Will take them in next time I go. I just wasn't sure whether the till would beep (my main worry !) if I used vouchers that didn't have my name on.

Virgin holidays have just opened a shop inside a Tesco store quite near to me (Ipswich) so there may be others.
They can take bookings (including those using Tesco deals tokens) and can make amendments to existing bookings etc, so no more hanging on 0870/0871 numbered call centre 'phone lines!
