Does anybody know whether the Tesco Clubcard RAC Deal tokens come with your name printed on - can I use someone else's if they apply for that deal for me?
    Thanks,
    Beck

I take it that it went through with no problem with a different name / address?

Yes, it was fine, they send a form for you to send to the RAC so you just put whatever details you want on that

I haven't read the whole thread so apologies if this comes up regularly - I did try searching in various forms but it didn't come up...

The minimum £500 spend on some of the deals - is this £500 monetary value? Or £500 worth of clubcard points?

e.g. if I wanted to book a £500 holiday, would I need £500 of tokens or £125 of tokens (as most are worth 4x in deals)?

i believe im right in saying that the total cost of the holiday must be at least £500, but you can pay using a combination of vouchers and more normal methods of payment

I have just taken out RAC membership and they send out a form for you to complete. You pay online, then receive the form, fill it in and send it to RAC. It is freepost, but they recommend that you send it registered post or you have no comeback if it is lost. I don't think that there were any personalised details on the form. I dont know if you can enter other peoples vouchers online to pay for it though.

Does anyone have experience of Cosmos and using Tesco Deal Vouchers?

We want to go to Cyprus next year and they have got the hotel that we want, but in the brochure it says that you can't pay for extras using the vouchers. I see that flight meals and filght upgrades and some airport transfers are not included in the holiday price, so I presume we would have to pay for those separately? Also, we may want to go for 10 days instead of the standard 14, which they can do, but will they do it on vouchers?

Any help would be appreciated as the hotel we want is where we went for our honeymoon in 2005 and is quite expensive.

10 day holidays are fine to pay with vouchers.

If the brochure says no to upgrades/meals, then I'd assume no you can't use the vouchers to pay for them.

However, we've just returned from an XL.com holiday paid for by tesco and they did accept vouchers to pay for our transfers, despite the brouchre saying they wouldn't. So I'd ring Cosmos (using saynoto0870;)) to find out the answer to that one.

Also another tip which you may/may not have found from the rest of the thread, but so worth repeating...if you are part paying with Tesco vouchers, Cosmos can be a quite expensive option so you may be able to find the holiday you want with another company at a price just above what you would pay tesco in real money + CC vouchers.
