    Hi

    hope someone can help please

Ive just realised Ive got £9.00 of vouchers due to expire today - am kicking myself for not being more organised as I always use vouchers for deals.

Id read on here somewhere and paidtoshop that Tesco can extend/replace vouchers, so I rang to see if I could send off vouchers for a deal today first class(vouchers are old ones & havent got online code unfortunately) and was told this wasnt possible & my only option is to use them instore today.

So has Tesco changed its policy does anyone know? The girl asked how much vouchers were for, so maybe they have to be over a certain amount for them to extend?

    Thanks for any help

well the following email ive had from tesco suggests it shouldnt be a problem for them to reconvert...
    Thank you for your email.

I'm sorry that some of your Clubcard vouchers are due to expire in the next few months. I can understand how annoying this is.

We're happy to add the same amount of points back onto your Clubcard account. You'll then receive them, with the other points you're collecting, in our next Clubcard mailing.

Just send a copy of your expired Clubcard vouchers to:

    Tesco Clubcard
    FREEPOST Tesco SCO 5043
    Dundee
    DD2 9XU

Thanks for letting us know and thank you for shopping at Tesco.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us at
customer.service@tesco.co.uk quoting (removed for security reasons).

my question is.. do i send them recorded delivery or just normal post?

Tesco's Deals Beware!!!! I looked at Haven holidys online and could book 4 nights in cornwall for £459 sent for my tesco deals phoned the number given you cannot book on line. The same holiday with the deals has just cost me £679, asked the operator who said that I had to pay brochure price. So be very careful when ordering holidys its not always cheaper!!!

you cant get any online discounts etc when using tesco deals

BUT i dont know why people moan as you are getting a "free" holiday at the end of the day

try going during term time to get cheaper holidays !;)

personally i wouldnt pay those prices for a UK haven / butlins type holiday, only time we do UK holidays is with the sun cheap jobbies!

if i was going to spend £400 or £600+ on a hol be it with cash or deals id rather spend a bit more and have a week abroad somewhere :)

Have been on a mission today.........

Having got to the stage where I find it difficult to walk past the computer without logging on to MSE, I decided to put some of the Tesco 'strategies' to the test!! Armed with 3 sets of 'Quit Kit' vouchers, I went to my 'local' to find a bargain!

The SANEX glich is still working - 6 bottles (BOGOF), 2 x £1.25 QK beauty vouchers and it cost me 80 pence!!! :p Thinking of going back for more as car boot bargains as others have mentioned before!

Managed to pick up another 9 Quit Kits, although there were 3 boxes on the shelf. Haven't quite plucked up the courage to lift a whole box yet!

Just wanted to share my minor success and say 'Hi' as this is my first posting on the site. Have already re-mortgaged, changed energy suppliers and am boosting the points on every card I can lay my hands on!

THANKS FOR A FANTASTIC SITE! Whoever would have believed that being realistic about your finances could be fun!
    I'M THE NANNA!!!
  • as a umemployed mum spent my tesco vouchers on deals for a day out for kids. great as 15 worth of vouchers gave us all £60 worth of deals coupons and we went brean leisure park near weston super mare and all had unlimited ride wristbands. the kids had a whale of a time and tesco were very quick with my order it only took a week. first time i have done this but really really pleased as i usually save them for xmas
will now start saving for hol to euro disney!
:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.

The only way you can get to Euro Disney using Clubcard Deals is with Ledger Travel on a coach and this company are leaving the Clubcard Deals scheme this month.

    not quite true...........

    Token type: Leger holidays
    Category: Holidays / Leger
    Location: Europe
    Suitable for: Families
    Product code: S6007
If you have been saving your Clubcard Vouchers for Leger Tokens, you must have ordered and booked your holiday with Leger by the 30th September 2007 for travel up to the 31st December 2007

  • I haven't read the whole thread so apologies if this comes up regularly - I did try searching in various forms but it didn't come up...

The minimum £500 spend on some of the deals - is this £500 monetary value? Or £500 worth of clubcard points?

e.g. if I wanted to book a £500 holiday, would I need £500 of tokens or £125 of tokens (as most are worth 4x in deals)?
