Tesco Clubcard/Vouchers/Points/Deals - Post All Questions Here

hi, i have one main tesco clubcard account, and two accoutns for internet shopping, all with a variant of my name. when the vouchers come and i want to convert them, (for a virgin holiday) will i be able to put all the vouchers together to pay for the same holiday?

We have been collecting tesco Vouchers for some time. But have found that the deals arn't always as good as you think.

With hotels, you can always get a cheaper price on the hotel website. Haven breaks have to be taken from the brochure, and this excludes a lot of the deals.

So we tend to use them for days out or end up spending them on shopping before they run out.

has anyone had points added to their balance for recycling ink cartridges. I have sent 16 off in the last couple of months but have only had 200 points added to my balance. I was expecting 1600 points

I've got 5 old mobile to send off too but am a bit reluctant to do so if we aren't going to get the points.

Just a quick question, we're trying to purchase days out vouchers for alnwick castle and blue reef aqurium online. These come as the same company and tesco online is adding the vouchers to the one bundle.

How will we receive these and does anybody know if what happens if we get 2 * £10 vouchers and we need £15 for alnwick and £5 for blue reef will we get change of vouchers from these companys or do tesco give you the vouchers in £1 vouchers?

I'm trying to work out how much a skiing holiday would be, so I can work out how many deals vouchers to save. As far as I can see, the only company offering skiing are Virgin in North America, would rather go to the Alps. We are a family of 4 (kids 10 and 12), and the virgin site didnt seem to have prices for next year and this years season is over.
Has anyone costed a holiday like this, please? I'm guessing we are talking at least 2 thousand pounds for two weeks self catering. Any information gratefully received.

They usually send a mixture of vouchers - but you don't get change if you don't have the "right change". If you are able ( ie if you have seperate clubcard vouchers) could you do 2 different orders - each for the amount you need for each venue?

Other than that I would try and do a manual order and write details on it specifying the denominations you need - or perhaps phone CS?

Could I use wine points vouchers (from the Tesco Wine Club) that have been issued to someone else with my clubcard?

I am asking because I have just put some spare H & B vouchers on the paidtoshop swap site and said I would like wine vouchers in return. Just after, on the same site, I read about someone having their wine vouchers rejected because, although the surname was the same, the initial letter was different to the credit card they were using.

I have used other peoples named clubcard vouchers on many occasions with no problem. It does however depend on the cashier. If you have a clubcard key fob use this as it does not have your name on! Also try not to mix different peoples vouchers in the same "shop".

hi, am trying to collect enoughclubcard points ofr a holioday to florida - rice quoted on virgin at £2000 for myself and daughter. question, would i be better off selling vouchers on ebay (will have points of £150 worth £600 for holiday) after 4 months of serious collecting. not going away till next year. any suggestions welcome!

See how much you can source the holiday you want from elsewhere.

Then do some sums based on your CC vouchers selling for double face value on ebay and see if it's worth it.
