Definitely not anymore. It used to be that if you booked with Virgin at a Disney Hotel your tickets were automatically included but that is no longer the case. Yu have to buy them separately and they cannot be paid for with your vouchers.
I don't think that there is anyway around it. Just shopping around for the best deals on the tickets, which may not necessarily be with Virgin, although if you add tehm on to your virgin booking you can pay them off by direct debit in teh run up to your holiday. We have booked for Dec 07 and after paying off our vouchers, have around £1200 to pay so we are paying £100 amonth by DD which was easier for us than finding £1200 up front.0 -

Do you have to go with Virgin to Disney? Can cosmos not take you?
Just checked...can't buy disney passes with CC via Cosmos either.
Are cosmos likely to be cheaper than virgin for the passes?Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Can anyone tell me whether the 5 points per £4 spent you get with a Tesco credit card is in addition to the 1 point per £1 on your clubcard or including it?

Quick question to the experts amongst you. My MIL has £25 in clubcard vouchers she is happy to sell these to us at face value, obviously we're happy to have them £100 towards our holiday, but she is convinced I won't be able to use them as they have her name and clubcard voucher number on them. I am equally as convinced that I can use them - otherwise why would people sell them on ebay? Can anyone confirm this one way or the other. Have any of you used vouchers with another name on.
Cheers.0 -
You do need to have the same surname on the deals vouchers ( or if 2 names then both need to be going on the holiday).
Sometimes sellers on ebay convert their vouchers for the "deals" which have no name and can be used by anyone - eg restaurant, days out, etc.
There may be a way to get over the surname problem but I cannot guarantee it. If you use the vouchers in another name - but convert them online through your tesco account then the "deals" should arrive with your name on. It worked for me with Goldsmith vouchers but as I said before not sure if it will work with other companies or if indeed it will cause you a problem if customer services at Tesco become aware of the situation.
Hope that makes sense and helps!0 -
I forgot how ANNOYING IT IS when you ring the travel company to price your holiday and discover that the price they are charging as you are using CC vouchers is over and above the brochure price listed.
Just rung for 2ad, 1 2 yr old, 1 infant and the price quoted is, get this, MORE than the cost of 4 adults brochure price.
Just needed to whinge. feel better now. thanks for listening.
Suppose I need to remember I'm still going on holiday at a stupidly low price...Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
