Hi. I've booked a five-day break to the Siblu park closest to Disney and went right through the booking with Siblu on the telephone, right through to booking the Disney tickets, then I dropped in right at the end - "Oh, i'd like to pay with Tesco Clubcard vouchers" and straight away the Disney tickets had to be removed. I was so close! Absolutely gutted. I think the equipment damage waiver was also excluded and any ferry upgrade. V.disappointed.

Shame Paris Travel Service/Cresta are no longer available within the scheme as we used to go every year courtesy of Tesco.

DLRP isn't a holiday experience I'd choose but DD now 5 is desperate to go. Seems like everyone from her class has been to DLRP if not Florida. We did bite the bullet once before on behalf of her two big broths and she actually came along but our protests that she went when she was one aren't convincing her.

As far as I can see this means there is no way of self driving and paying with tesco vouchers. We could still do the Siblu thing but would have to pay cash for the passes which for five of us is the biggest single expense. If anyone has worked out anything that lets them drive to DLRP but pay for everything with clubcard vouchers please can you let me know? Don't think I could stomach a coach holdiay with my three.

:( unfortunately,no there isnt a way of paying for a whole DLRP holiday inc tickets with CC deals vouchers.

We went to DLRP in october,we made it cheaper by using the sun £9.50 per person holiday for accomodation, then using tesco deals for ferry travel ( or could use eurotunnel) then paying for the DLRP tickets with cash saved up.

There is one way although it does work out more expensive. You can book a coach trip with Leger to Disneyland with the hotel and park tickets included. You can then book your own ferry separately and meet the coach party at the hotel at Disney. I know this can be done as I asked over the telephone recently and the telephonist asked a supervisor and said there was no reason why this couldn't be done. This also enables you to extend your trip and take in Paris for a few days before or after the disney break. It does however mean that you are paying for a coach trip holiday, which is more expensive in the first place, then using extra clubcard vouchers to book a ferry for the self-drive part. A pain but it is a way around it.

    Hi
Does anyone know if the tussards annual pass runs from the day that you buy it or from the begining of the year to the end.

Have just worked out that im £15 short for 4 passes for the family:mad: must start really utalising my tescos.
its valid from the day you buy it.

have a look at the tesco site here - http://www.tesco.com/CLUBCARD/DEALS/PRODUCTINFOSHEETS/P6000.PDF
  • Help me i am confused, i have been reading for an hour or so and cant seem to find an answer.

I dont understand how the eurotunnel bit works, you need to have deal tockens before you can book, but no change is given. Question is, how much in deal tokens to need so they dont get wasted.

How do the prices compare to the online prices and for travel in september would it make any difference if it was booked now or in 3 months time.

Basically if anybody has Tesco Eurotunnel experience please let me know

    Thanks:-)

it's the same for all holiday and travel deals. Exchange vouchers into deals, then make your booking. Ring the company to find a cost before booking-ensure you tell them it's a clubcard booking, exchange the right number of CC vouchers, then actually book with the company.

Can't answer how prices fluctuate for eurotunnel, but my guess is that they'll be more expensive nearer the time if they're a normal travel company.

I booked my ticket this time last year and was advised ( by the operator ) that generally as you get closed to your proposed departure date the cheaper fares dissappear.I can't vouch for this but took the advice and booked early.

I have just checked on the website last week and worked out the proposed cost of this years trip then went straight online and ordered the correct No of vouchers ( In my case £22.50 worth of clubcard coupons worth £90 of
Eurotunnel vouchers. I have already received these..If you don't have enough Eurotunnel will take extra payments...Dont get too many deal vouchers as you won't get refund on extra.

As Kremen says, if you go on the Eurotunnel website, select the times and day you want and that will give you an indication o prices. I usually estimate on around £50 for a daytrip.

Hi - I posted a question about DLRP a couple of days ago and got some helpful responses. I got this quarter's mailings this morning and noticed you can use tesco vouchers to pay for Parc Asterix. Is this new? Has anyone been and what do you think? How near to the Siblu camp near Paris is it?

I'm wondering if we could do a day here too to reduce DLRP costs.
