AVG question

My daughter has been using AVG 7.5 on her laptop for about 18 months, and doing updates whenever prompted. She is now being told that this will expire on the 9th April, how does she get the next free version please?.

In case I have misunderstood this, does anyone know if AVG 7.5 IS being supported?

Update to AVG 8.5 http://free.avg.com/download?prd=afe or use a better free antivirus like Avira http://www.free-av.com/

Thomas we have used your avg 8.5 link which worked. Thanks very much.

Gaming Guy, I appreciate your quick reply too and have no doubt it too would have been satisfactory. Hopefully others may find the links usefull.

What sort of problems AliEnRIK? I ask because I have AVG and always been ok - no viruses etc. I also am supposed to upgrade to 8.5.

My computer was very slow with AVG 8.5 so I uninstalled it and reinstalled AVG 7 until I could find something better.

I might try Avira then as I hear good things about it. I suppose it updates regularly too?
