Will halfords fit any stereo?

If we got a car stereo from another shop will halfords fit it? or do they just fit their own..anyone know..

They only fit the ones they sell, most small garages will do it cheap.

If you want it fitted properly take it somewhere else.Had many problems with halfrauds.

I wish people wouldnt be like that, not all Halfords are bad... i used to work there a few years ago fitting stereo's, to took pride in being careful and doing the job correctly/

Usually Halfords will fit stereos from other shops, but will usually charge you £40 fitting.. its all down to the different stores though

what car you got, its really not tricky. Have a read about on the web, its just a case of swapping it over. Where are you based?

If i was a female i would ask some boy racers a few quid to do it, or take it to a local garage, it really is a 5 minute job

Depends what car... if its a Vauxhall it'll be plug and play, anything else like ford, toyota... you'll need a fascia and whats know as an ISO lead.

Ok fair enough,they cant all be idiots,the last time we went there the fitter asked if we wanted the rear speakers to work??????!!!!!!.He also made a total hash of the install so we went elsewhere and the guy there said he gets so much work from Halfrauds screwups.

No not this time, it was a T5 V70.
