Took my Dentyl mouthwash back to Asda today and they claimed they had no idea what i was talking about and refused to refund:confused: Seems a bit strange because some of their own brand products were affected too.

i have to smile. I have that Clove mouthwash in the bathroom and it doesnt look like it should (very cloudy), anyway I wondered why i had a bad tummy for a week and since i stopped using it a few days ago I have been fine.

So I click on the sainsburys website and low and behold they head the product recall website TRY SOMETHING NEW TODAY. Of course, microbiological disaster mouthwash is a nice change from yesterdays chinese takeaway.

The latest information is that the 'microbiological problem' (aerobic mesophile) only effects people with a compromised immune system or pre-existing lung conditions

More info in todays Daily Mail here http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1168716/Safety-fears-mouthwash-17-products-recalled-microbiological-problem.html

It says in the Daily Mail article that it is only bottles that where purchased in the last three weeks.

I rang the number and although I did not buy mine recently they still said to take it back to where I bought to be on the safe side.

I phoned the helpline and it includes those bought from Boots as well. It is no longer on the boots.com site but I imagine it is a lot more expensive there than supermarkets, might be worth checking out if you've got a boots nearby ;)

Thanks for that, i just phoned Boots careline and the lovely lady said there would be no problem returning them with or without receipt. She said if i had any problems instore i was to tell them to phone customer services.
