    Hi everyone,

Hope those of you have had a rough time of it lately or are feeling poorly have a better day tomorrow. Snuggle up to your OH (or as in my case, a hot-water bottle *grrr*) and try to sleep well. Big huggles.

Congrats on you lucky ones on paying off a dreaded debt. Your inspirational. :T

Managed to do most of my listed things today. Back to work tomorrow . No rest for the wicked.

Take care and have a great easter.

really quick question about veggies: I have the following veg which has grown to be really big, when can I plant them out into the garden?
    • Courgettes
    • Beans
    • Peas
    • Radishes
    • Sprouts

    Any advice would be welcomed.

    Candy xxx

Candy, the courgettes and (runner?) beans can't really go out unprotected yet, as they are very susceptible to frost - unless you have or could rig up a coldframe or makeshift greenhouse? You are very early, I am just going to put seeds for these in this weekend, as I find best to plant them out in May. You might be lucky though, it depends whether you get any more frosts where you are

If they are broad beans (instead of runners) they would be ok though. The other things should be ok outside. The radishes, depending on what they are planted in, will be ready soon, as they only take a few weeks :D I have grown them in pots before no problem x

Sophiesmum – Hope you are ok. Perhaps you had low sugar levels? I once woke up (over 10 years ago) and fainted a few times from bedroom to bathroom. Doctor advised me to drink a cup of tea with 2 sugars. I felt better instantly and touch wood it has never happened since.

Millyscarlet – hope you feel better soon

Urg – hope your back feels better soon

Hampsterpoo and Lillian 1977 – congrats on paying off the debts

Andan – long lists as always ;-)

I'm too tired to list my things today despite having today off work (on holiday) :T - I have listed a few things on Ebay. :A

The funeral went ok, really sad, he was only 37. A relief in a way as he had been ill for a number of years, still doesnt make it easier :(

Good news on the washing machine front, picked it up, checked belt, all ok, wiggled a cable, works like a dream! £50 for a £400+ machine! Needed a darn good clean inside, had to put it on various empty washes to get gunk out, but think we have got there now! Not sure its heating the water, will need to check that....

And still in target range (2lb on and star week) so will be another £4.50 saving next week.

Am off to nurse my earache and throat ache, wish it would just hit properly and get over and done with, cant take this coming and going.....

Good evening dfw's,Thanks for the good wishes everyone,
I have not had a good day today, feeling a bit crud , there is a viral thing going about here which is what I think caused the blackout, had high temp all day but docs only prescribing paracetamol and rest. Bump on my head is now lovely shade of blue and shoulder has been wrecking all day, don't think anything is broken though just very bruised.
To finish off my lovely day the modem on my broadband decide to burn out this afternoon so I have not been able to get on here - currently on works internet, and cable can't get out till Monday to bring a new one:eek:

I was so looking forward to this weekend to get some more stuff done in the garden and maybe drive to see some friends, now I can't drive as shoulder is too bad and can't do the stuff I wanted in the garden, and will have to sit in office to get on here:mad: Pah!!!

    Anyway enough moaning from me:rolleyes:

Well done Lilian and Hampsterpoo on paying off your debts :T:T

Milly - hope everything goes well seeing the gastro specialist and that you soon feel better.xx

Cleosmum and urg - hugs xxx

Hope you all have a lovely Easter weekend HSegg1_4219.gif

I know what viral thing you are talking about SM, have had it on and off for weeks. I felt very faint when i had it, the worst bit was i was giving someone a candling treatment, so i had a lit candle stuck in their ear and began to feel more and more faint!!

Hope you feel better soon and put your feet up. We were all rather worried about you. Are you still alright posting the thread?

Sorry to hear about the funeral Cleosmum, such a young age. Hope you get well soon.

Off to bed for my early morning start, part of me is really wishing i wasn't going as i am still answering email questions regarding my business and people still trying to book in!! Getting rather overwhelmed with the massage work for next week!
