So my sport of choice is vertical exercise dancing *ahem* - trust me, this is excellent for fitness, mixing cardio and weights, and just a lot more fun than going to the gym! Anyway, I decided to invest in a pair of 6" heels (which makes it all a little bit easier, honestly) so found the type of shoes I wanted and found them at a price I was willing to pay, on exoticdancewear.co.uk
After paying for the shoes, I didn't hear back from them for over 2 weeks, various emails were sent saying they were shipped and there was nothing more they could do, and finally a month later, my neighbour turned up at the door with my shoes - they were posted to the entirely wrong place (they had written the wrong address, nothing to do with the postman). When I opened them, they had sent me the wrong shoes. So I called to complain, and despite being listed online, they had no more stocks of the shoes I ordered, so I was told to return the shoes for a full refund & shipping costs.
I did this the next day, and phoned to confirm they had been received - they had, but the refund would take up to 28 days. Fine, fair enough.
It's been over 28 days, so I left two voicemails for the company on friday asking they call me back and clearly leaving my number, to no reply. On Monday I sent an email which has also been ignored.
All I want is my money back so I can buy the shoes I wanted in the first place, but their phones don't let me through to a live person and nobody will respond to my emails/messages! Overall, it's been a farce from the beginning, I'd thoroughly recommend you avoid them like the plague!

How did you pay for them?
Credit card? If so, can't you dispute?"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."

Credit card, yes, but the company isn't very interested as the shoes did turn up and were returned.I think I just need to kick up more of a fuss... lol.
Finally got through to a live person (by going through all the telephone options till I could speak to someone live!) and they told me the only person who can do refunds is in America on a business trip for a few weeks. :mad:0 -
hello, i have been a customer for 6 years, they are by far the best sexy shoe store i have dealt with online. i have never had any problems with anything ive bought from them. most of my orders are delivered the very next day, some of my orders have taken 3 days. i have only ever returned 2 items to them and i was refunded in full no problems - (1 item even had a thong with it, i didnt think they would accept the return of a thong) have you tried emailing them? I think the managers name is Justin or Jason? good luck babes x0

Hi,
Well I suggest you call them back & say that if you don't get refund immediately, you will iniate (spelling!!) chargeback on credit card ... then call you credit card company & explain situation - they should be liable under section 75 of the credit card act (you need to check exact terminology - most likely not called credit card act!!).

I think the distance selling regs say that goods must be returned at receiver’s expense within 7 days of receipt of the goods? After 7 days you cannot return – (correct me if I am wrong though?)
If the company say that they will refund you including postage I think that’s more that they are required to do. Why don’t you give them a call, if they have offered you a refund including postage already there must be a reasonable explanation for the situation?
Maybe emails are being lost in your spam filter I had a problem with ebay before and I thought sellers were not responding to my messages, they were but they were all in my spam filter0 -

I'll take that :beer:0 -
I'll take that
With a name like honeypie they are probably a six foot, 50 year old brickie.
Or someone whose first post is to praise a company that is being criticised. While I'm not sure honeypie will spend much time on the Old Style board, though he will be welcome if he does come over, perhaps they will spend more time on the I wanna board.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -
