I currently have an item listed on ebay and it says postage to UK only. Someone from France has bid on it. Can I cancel their bid? Or should I ask them to retract their bid?
thanks in advance

How do you know they are from france? Are you just looking at their ebay location?
I bet you any money they eventually ask you to post to Nigeria.0 -
Yes I was looking at their ebay location. I asked them to retract their bid and they have. How can I make sure this doesn't happen in the future?0

I've set them to UK only but it seems to still let people bid? Dont send abroad as I am worried about scams etc.0

Start from here to set buyer requirements to exclude overseas bidders or bidders with NPB strikes etc.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Goodness, have you something against the French then? Personally apart from their postal service which can be a bit flakey I rarely have problems with French buyers at all.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Get proof of posting - covers you for £36 value overseas.
No more likely to have an issue posting to Europe and US as you are with UK.0 -
