They probably would be lucky to get half what they get off the UK system. I assume they'd certainly be entitled to something, but Greek benefits certainly wouldn't pay for that nice villa.

Why on earth do people in Greece recieve a winter fuel allowance? A summer cooling allowance may be more appropriate.

That is awful - Never knew that !! Is it for people who live abroad during the cold winter to keep their houses here heated !! Madness considering people with conditions that dont qualify for the heating payments and do need the heating on are doing without:mad:

Those that don't qualify have money, so there's no sympathy from me in this respect. The fact that they're doing without is due to greed, nothing else.

We dont have a nice villa we are renting a small apartment which is cheaper than our council house in the uk.:mad:
