Orange free broadband

I am on the verge of taking free Orange Broadband. Is it any good ? I normally do a little light surfing and i play Pro Evo on my PS3 online of a night. Will this be a good Choice with it having 10gb limit ?

  • I've heard nothing but bad things about Orange broadband. It may be free, but its probably not cost effective...

You get what you pay for. Personally I wouldn't touch Orange with a barge pole.

Ive had Orange BB (Unlimited) for sometime now, I'm on an LLU circuit, speeds are very good for me (Just a tadge under 8Mb) Ive only had 3 major outages, all of them lasting a few minutes, thats not bad for almost 3 years. I have mobile and Landline with them so it works out cost effective for me. As for gaming, I can't comment as I only use it for internet & IPTV. But would the 10Gb be enough?

I don't know everything, however I do try to point people in the right direction but at the end of the day you can only ever help yourself!

No problems with mine. Just ckeck you are on an orange LLU otherwise it won't be free as they'll have to piggy back on BT.

google 'samknows' and do a search there and it will tell you if orange is set up at your local exchange.
  • fine for me too - once went down for a few hours but I've had them for 3 years and they did call up a few days later to check that I was back to normal again ...
