Hi,its me again. Thanks for the laugh ,I have enjoyed your replies so far.I also save the blank side of paper from all the bumph that comes through the post.Either use the blank side for shopping lists, reminders etc.Otherwise I cut into smaller size, glue the top,peg till it dries, and thus make my own small jotters. Again, saves money and TREES.

I feel another book coming. How about Money Diet 2? Martin could compile money saving tips from posters. Andrea could write gardening tips, there could also be sections on cleaning, laundry, food, just about anything really.

There's already a lot of these books around................................but extremely Americanised and slightly patronising, like Cheap Talk with the Frugal Friends (A. Zalewski & D. Ricks). Therefore MARTIN........I reckon it's about time we had an English version where it collates everything English and therefore relevant to us! ;D yipee!
AND it wouldn't take much work to gather up all the tips on here and ask for more from us!! Come on Martin......................................it could be your SECOND bestseller!! :o:o:o

    Yes a good idea.
Think I will hang onto more of my tips just in case he decides to pay royalties to the one with the most tips.

Perhaps you could also do a Scottish version? ;) And Welsh, and Irish.....

I had loads of nearly empty tubes of handcream and body lotion. I've just split them open and put them all in one pump bottle, it's half full now. Trouble is, I now have 4 different scents mixed together, it smells so sweet I reckon I'll be attacked by wasps if I go outside ;D

Learn from my lesson and don't even buy creams unless they come in soft plastic tubes. I've got skin cream in a posh glass bottle and there's too little for the pump action to work any more. There's at least a weeks worth of goo in there, so I'm digging it out with the handle of a spoon ;D
