nooo, I don't dry t-bags as I can never find one that makes a strong enough cup in the first place! Not even Betty's from Harogate. or Yorkshire tea. tho that is better than some. I often have to use 2 bags all to myself (not money saving I know!) just to get a tasty cuppa!
Oh and I gave up washing and drying poly bags years ago!
Try Twinnings Assam Tea bags they make a very strong brew. I like the spoon to stand up on it's own, they work for me! Not very moneysaving unless you get them on special offer.0 -
It is theoretically cheaper to buy leaf tea and brew it in a pot. Then you can adjust the amount of tea leaves exactly to suit your taste. My trouble is, teabags are easier! Must use up that organic Assam (it was on offer

I've always cut tubes in half to finish up the product, whether its toothpaste, hand cream or foundation.
I always add a couple of dessertspoonsful of water to any liquid soap products, such as shampoo, shower gel, washing up liquid and hand wash, once the use has made it go down about an inch in the bottle. Close the lid and give it a good shake, goes to lots of bubbles, but settles back to normal. Have been doing this for years, no noticable loss of soapiness.
This is with the exception of Body Shop products. They are so concentrated that you only need a very small amount anyway. Not worth diluting.0 -
Don!t know if its been posted but don"t you just hate metal toothpaste tubes,When they have been battered just get a rolling pin on them.Make sure the top is on though. :j0

The above tip also works with plastic tubes so you girls can get your moisturiser etc.down to the last drop.0

Went on holiday to a cottage with my two dogs and forgot to take their feeding bowls. Instead of buying new ones, DH cut a new bowl from a 4 litre milk container. It worked so well we now have a couple of cut down containers in the car for giving them a drink after a walk.0

You might think that when you have, what you thought was the last bit of paste squeezed out of the last bit of your toothpaste tube, then think moneysaving! Just cut it near the top and I guarantee you have at least another couple of days of paste there. Also, I use a denture fixative and again when I cut it open I have another week's paste there:beer:0

I also find that in normal use toothpaste goes much further if you use a small-headed brush. Strange that the adverts have stopped showing the toothpaste on the brush!0
