    Random question

Does anyone know what might cause tender skin.

Before my race on sunday when i got up, my skin around the top of my thigh was very tender...it felt like I had bruised it but there was no bruise...now i bruise easily so I waited to see if the bruise came out but nothing...

Its so tender now that my clothes hurt to touch it:confused: and it appears to be spreading into my lower back....

    Has anyone had that before....

I need shorts and I would like the jacket too...its supposed to rain on Friday and with 20+ miles to do I would like something that will keep me dry yet stop me getting soaking in sweat. My Pac a Mac is like sitting in a sauna and distgusting.

You've obviously used some new muscles there Linda!

I used to run 4 or 5 times a week up until last year, then I just stopped for no apparent reason whatsoever!

I think my muscles are in shock!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
