I was exactly the same Snags, clothes always used to make me happy and it's taken me a long time to get control of the splurging, I think I had a serious problem at one point. Now I have a good wardrobe of wearable clothes, I've just gone too far the other way and don't have the confidence to wear them

*hugs* for the situation though, sounds tough.
    Thank you hunny

I just need to make sure I realise where to draw the line between buying things I actually 'need' (I know dresses aren't a need, but you know what I mean lol), and buying things just for the sake of it because I'm comfort shopping.

Think I'm stopping just short of that at the moment, but I'll be careful.

So put them in your wardrobe in groups of "party","work" and "slobbing". Put washed in on the left, and take from the right.

Everything gets worn - and no excuses.

Sally - yes, pretty dire at the moment. :( He hates me apparently, and takes every opportunity to show me so. I think it's because we are hitting the 6 month point and I think at the back of his mind he thought we would be back together and he wouldn't have to renew the lease on his house.

I've tried to make sure I never give him false hope, because it IS over for good - but I do feel very very guilty about how difficult he is finding it.

Ah hun you are doing everything you can....even if he is finding it difficult, he is acting rather childishly by acting like a !!!!!!. My sis is going through exactly the same thing, to start with it was all, we are going to be great friends, still do stuff with the kids together and now he can't bare to be in the same room and has filed for divorce (last ditch attempt I think)
I am sure that in time when he comes to terms with it, it will be more amicable

Gemmzie - I don't understand your lack of confidence - you is a babe!

But I know it's not always that simple.

    Thanks - I hope so.

I wish he WOULD file for divorce. He told me the other day that he wont because that would be making it too easy on me (yep, that's me - always taking the easy way out...). So I have to wait 2 years, and then hope he agrees to it. Otherwise it could be 5 years.

Evening Maz! Well done on your run. :T

I think I'm slipping a bit with the running - my sore ankle has been hindering me a lot for the last couple of weeks and I've barely done any.

I should have gone tonight but my joints are still hurting. GAH!!
