Wait and see on that one.

problem is, the shares no longer existthey were 'taken' when the government took over the bank so it's a case of how much compensation I'll get - it could be as little as 5p per share and who knows when it will happen....

I will call you when i'm in the store... tomorrow late morning or mid afternoon, will let others in the office get their lunchables out the way first... or pop out before them... far be it from my lunch break to interfere in any way with their lives.... grrrrr:mad:..... i don't get a lunch break at lunchtime anymore... joys of being a pleb!
Hey but in other news, i went to charity shop today as am decidedly low on clothes to wear....
i bought a black pencil skirt, size 14, too tight but fastens, so considering it a work in progress for when i grow out of this one i'm wearing....
a blouse for work, pink asda, size (wait for it....!) 22!! now how wierd is that! i tried it on and it fits nicely, but i wouldn't say it's too big by any means.. i may actually have to stitch the buttons shuts as boobage can cause button poppage at the mos inopportune times!
and a pair of Miss Selfridge jeans in a size 14L... and guess what they fit!! they fit!!! they fit!!! - whey hey hey!
not happy about the blouse size but very happy about the jeans and may wear them inside out for show!!
not that i am a 14 by any means, but it says so on the label! :T:T:TI'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Having a much brighter day today!! Got a savings account to stash some cash in that we were given for emergencies, and the CO OP has agreed our basic bank account and it's all up and running so the wages can be moved over and we can start the task of cancelling all the direct debits for the min payments etc.
Feels like one of the first positive things that's happened in ages.

Hi thatcherschild
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

Maz - don't worry about the size - Asda are always going to be on the snug side to keep the prices down - nobody will know what size it is.

Thanks BB - blouses are the worst thing ever... all my old blouses have had to be stitched up behind the buttons....I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
I think anything with buttons down the front for women is stupid, I mean we are curved so isn't it obvious that they will gape..unless you are flat chested I guessI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
