That's really kind of you, many thanks for the offer. But unfortunately i'm stuck with orange until december when my contract is up for renewal, grrrrr, i have downgraded my package to a cheaper one though and i'm barely using my phone at the moment. I've become rather rude this week and have hardly answered any of my friends' text messages :rotfl:
Really nice of you to offer though, many many thanks :T

LMB, some phones can be "unlocked", this means that you can use any sim card in them :-)
I think there are threads on this board relating to this topic ( though don't hold me to this lol ).
Once the phone is unlocked, you could use another sim card ( unfortunately you would still need to pay your monthly contract fee ) for the free texts!!!
Or, you could do the following, if it made you feel happier:-
Buy a pay as you go sim card from Orange for £1!!! , slap that into your phone and if you top up the phone with £10 you get 300 text messages per month!!!

Hi jeff,
Like you say though, the problem is i'd still have to pay my monthly rental to orange. If i'm very careful i know i CAN keep my bill to the minimum (as in, what's already included in my contract).
Many thanks for your advice though.

Hi LMB I just wanted to let you know that I have just read through your thread and all the posts. When you told your husband by email I was very moved and it made me fill up. So glad you are moving forward and once you know your apr's it may be a good idea to have a signature, you can then see your debts going down. Well done and keep up the good work.

Hi LMB... :hello:
I gotta know...did you get the PO 0% card? Sorry if I seem nosey but I was hoping you *did* get it so you can take that next step forward in reducing debt by getting rid of some interest.
I really hope you got it!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Hi looking ahead
I didn't get it unfortunately. I got a very standard letter on friday to tell me i hadn't "met their criteria". Never mind. I've applied for another one with RBS, but if i don't get that i shall leave it for 6 months, don't want to completely ruin my credit rating with too many searches!!!Why is there always so much month left at the end of my money? :doh:0
