question on NTL Broadband and TV signals

Hi all,

I have broadband internet connection from NTL and was wondering if it is possible to split the signal comming in so that I can received the free to view tv channels.....is this possible? if so what do I need??

    Technically if you wish to split the Cable siginal you can with a Co-Ax Splitter with "F" Connectors, but you risk un-balancing the signinal that goes to your Cable modem. Even then if you hook this up to your TV, it will need to have a cable ready tuner, and NTL will need to be broadcasting analogue FTA channels in your area !

    Personally I would'nt tamper with it - the problems you may introduce with your HSI connection, will not be worth it .... personally better to just go an buy a cheep Freeview box, than the connectors, cables and splitters that would be required !

    You can receive FM radio via the wall splitter but limited choice last time I checked.
