Trivicell 80210? texting my daughter at £1 a go???
Hi does anybody have any knowledge of this company. Over the weekend my daughter complained that £5 of her credit had vanished, then today she noticed that her credit went down after receiving a text from 80210(going back through her history shows she also received 1 yesterday). I immediately text them back STOP (which cost £1) then they sent a message saying that the trivicell service had been terminated and to reactivate the account call 08458678121.
I haven't called the number in case its a premium rated, she swears she hasn't subscribed or text any company (although as an 11 year old I can't be 100% sure:rolleyes:) I am always telling her about these companys with competitions/prizes etc etc which end up costing lots of money so I don't think she would have text them. My concern is who are they?, and how this has happened, e.g as it is a landline number could one of her 'friends' have set this up.
Any thoughts welcome, I realise this is probably quite a common problem with younguns and subscription services, just really wanted to know if anyones experienced them being set up by a third party.
Thanks:easter:
