However the firmware on the DSi is automatically upgradeable over its internet connection, so the r4i may not work for very long....0 -
I am so upset. My daughters ds lite has just died for no reason. The power light is on but the screen is still dark as if it is switched off. Now we can't trade it in without getting it mended first.0

Trade-in Caution!!!
The £75 trade-in deal at Game stores only gives you vouchers to that value, which you have to spend in-store. So unless you were intending to purchase £75 worth of stuff from them anyway, you are not really saving anything.

I just traded my DS in and paid £74.99 extra to get a DSi from Game. The trade-in isn't one of those deals where you trade in, pay the full whack for the DSi and get £75 of vouchers which you have to use "next time"...0 -
We've just traded in 2 DS Lites to get a new DSi free and I have to say I think it's an improvement on the old version. The screen is much clearer and brighter imo compared to our old ones and daughter has had hours of fun so far taking pictures of anything that stands still and putting her 'creative spin' on them.
The case is much nicer now too...no more annoying fingermarks and visable hairline scratches.
I never used my DS Lite so I was happy to use it towards the trade-in rather than it sitting on a shelf....but I might want a new DSi now. :undecided
*goes off to look for Tesco vouchers*Herman - MP for all!0 -
Just come back from Tesco and there is no mention of a free memory card. No-one knew anything about it, nor was there any signage. I asked them to phone the main Tesco in another town and they had no idea about any free card either.
Is this only in certain stores?Herman - MP for all!0 -
i got my dsi last friday and traded my old ds in at gamestation, £75 trade in - £10 deposit plus remainder in cash - i was surprised though as i also got a free accessory kit and a free game - i chose carnival games - have also ordered my r4i which i am waiting for. the kids love my dsi they love the cameras and taking funny photos and recording themselves and messing with there voices.0

Hi I am looking for the best deal for an R4 cartridge for DSlite - I need 3 in all? Thanks0

It is not Game policy to force customers to buy bundle deals! I would recommend anyone who is told otherwise to contact their customer services. As a retailler myself I understand the impact of expanding a sale, but not at the expense of a returning customer! I have shopped at several Game branches and not had this problem.0
