o2 loophole for gold customers ?

Hi all,

I've been with o2 since the genie days and knew I was due an upgrade.

As a gold customer, I can upgrade 3 months early.

They are letting me upgrade to a simplicity tariff, which they confirmed has no 12,18 or 24 month tie ins and is a 30 day rolling contract.

This is done using my existing handset and sim.

So effectively, I can give them 30 days notice when they change my call plan in the next 48 hours and cancel my contract 2 months before it was due to originally end.,

Their adviser said theorically I could do that if I want.

I'm now off to read the Buymobilephones.net thread and plan my next contract :T
