I agree - you could always just be honest with them and say that you have these issues to overcome but that you are looking into ways to make it possible. They might even have suggestions.
If they offer you a job, you could look into car sharing etc.
Does Ash start full time in September? I might get shouted at for this but if you had to borrow the money to pay for childcare for the first 4 or 5 months, (assuming you have to cover a shortfall of about £200 a month - but it might not even be that much, AND you will have a salary coming in) wouldn't that be an investment?
You've just borrowed the equivalent of more than one months worth for a washing machine (and that's not a dig I promise, because obviously you did need a washing machine! Just saying that to point out that it might not be as scary a thought as you imagine).
I was going to mention the possibility of car sharing too. Maybe you could even give them a ring for a preliminary chat about the travel/ childcare issues before you apply?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

I am comparing house insurances - a job I hate. I went with Churchill last year. They have quoted £352 to renew but confused.com came up with them at £160 for a new customer!

I know that I'm ancient and my brats are now 18 and 22, but wasn't there a promise from the Government ( which ever bunch of wazzocks were in at the time) that GUARANTEED childcare so that parents, particularly single-parents were able to go to work?
Or was that another Government BS Promise?
Hello all btw:D
