Wow even for the grant?
I thought you'd get the grants before the loans!!
Think I might have to rethink my plans. Unfortunately I can't move into student halls so I'll need the money up front to move in before term starts! Dunno where I'll get the money now tbh, how upsetting.
The grant from the LEA comes at the same time as the loans from the LEA - they have the same payment date. Grants from the universities generally get paid a few weeks later.
If you need money to pay a deposit on accommodation prior to getting your loans, you can use the overdraft from your student account. It's what most students I know do for their deposit for accommodation.0
