Wasn't going to mention it, but I think the same person must've taken these ones too:

That's pretty bad! Perhaps the people who put repos with them won't be likely to complain, so they send the office assistant.
Mind you, I think they only scored 3/5 for the stingy piccies on their most expensive property:

The blurb for that starts OK, but then they repeat an entire paragraph.
Later on, it degenerates into non-sentences and spelling errors:
The rear garden has a leat running through to one side which ids crossed via a wooden bridge lading to the extensive main garden area. Extending down towards the river providing views of the Emreand a seated area at the waters edge. The garden is enclosed by mature trees and and brick wall offering in our opinion seclusion from neighbouring properties.
Summer House
Situated at the far end of the garen the summer house offers a balcony area with french doors. Ideal for an enclosed seating area or storage.
I don't think they'd recognise a comma or a 24 mm lense if it hit them between the eyes.
Some of their leading outdoor pictures are shot into the sun & thus very dark. This demonstates that they don't plan, clearly thinking anything will do. Here's an example:
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-24100646.html?locationIdentifier=BRANCH%5E1598&sortByPriceDescending=true&includeSSTC=true&_includeSSTC=on&pageNumber=1&backToListURL=%2Fproperty-for-sale%2Ffind%2FConnells%2FIvybridge.html%3FlocationIdentifier%3DBRANCH%255E1598%26includeSSTC%3Dtrue%26_includeSSTC%3Don
Our agent returned at a different time of day to shoot the main photo, then still wasn't happy, because the sky had clouded over. In the end, I did that one, photoshopped it and sent it in. Tweaking the pictures can make a real difference too.0 -

Not according to the Environment Agency, but you may know differently:

But being so close to the A38 would be enough for me.0 -

See where the river goes under the A38...
Look at the light blue triangle patch a couple of mm wide to the left of the river that is marked extreme flooding.
Thats where the house is..

OK. So, inconsiderate landlord &/or hostile tenants maybe, but the 'professional' in all this is the EA. It's the EA's job to sort this, one way or another. He/she hasn't, hence the post.
Or am I missing something?
Put it another way; if people see this on Connells' web site would it make them more or less keen to look at the property? More important, would it inspire them with confidence in Connells?
The thing is, if it's that bad, and the tenants/owners won't tidy it up, then you only put an outside shot on don't you - how easy would it have been to straighten the sign and have moved the bin and then put it back after the photo? Then you can work on them to do something. At least then, if you get interest, you can advise the person of the mess before they visit and tell them how it's only 'skin deep' for want of a better phrase, you won't get viewers like that or you will, but only people who will want a big drop in price...
With tenants it's hard as they won't want to move, so the worse it looks the better, but owners have to understand that they need to deal with it and speak to the tenants themselves or via the letting agent (it is the tenants legal requirement after all).
Sorry, bit of a ramble there, but that's what I do as a profession, so get really annoyed with agents who do this type of thing to their clients.LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

Superb. "In need of modernisation"...and a large bottle of bleach. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
i viewed a house that was worse - sink full of washing up, not one bed made in the house, not so fresh cat feaces on the laminate floor, red pair of knickers in the middle of the living room - at least they matched the red paint on the wall!!
the estate agent asked me for feedback as to why i was not interested - like she needed to ask!!
just remembered no one had bothered to flush the loo (or even close the lid) someone in the family had a problem in that area!!! yuk!!Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0
