Huge £30 credit on used (or new!) games

Went to stockport today at 5pm the offer had been withdrawn on most games, i took six and they would only let me trade in one game(ps3 tom clancys end war)..... The others they wouldn't even take off me at all.

Oh and when i asked for an updated list i got told no chance bring the game in if its on there list you can have £30 credit

Was that the CE version of End War, thinking of taking in GTA: Chinatown (DS), and GTA IV (PS3) and End War (non-collectors edition), would I get £30 each? Thanks in advance.

End war was non collectors edition, the other games refused were: brain training and more brain training, 42 all time classics and my sims these they would not trade at all.

Today at stockport I traded in Super Paper Mario wii and High School Musical: Senior Year wii; Bratz the movie wii was refused. After having a chat with the assistant it appears that a lot of people have been abusing the offer which is why they have taken off some of the games from the list published. It does say at the bottom of the list in the small print they have the right to substitute games without notice. It is tempting to try and make a profit and buy more games but you are taking a risk (I'm too chicken!), I did see a lady trying to take in 2 copies of Quantum of Solace PSP; they only accepted 1 copy though.

Thanks for making me aware of the offer, it is great while it lasts!

Prob cos they're all cheap to buy at Tesco at the mo and everyone has had the same idea :cool:
