Thanks for the links - but I cant see consoles on the site. Did anyone notice the cost of a Wii con sole in store?

    I've been Money Tipped!
We went to the one in Stockport yesterday - took two guitar hero ds and a lego batman - the kids swapped them for 2 disney ds games that were on BOGOF and 3 wii games - they were very friendly, very good customer service , although they dont give you any change back - it was only £3 so we wernt that bothered anyway. hopefully going back tomorrow!

    hiya,
we did this yesterday in the bullring. Beware though as they are not offering £30 on all of them anymore. They have cottoned on to people buying cheap games. We traded smash bros brawl x2 (seperate transactions), mario and sonic olympics, wii music (thought it was rubbish), sonic and the secret rings (only got a fiver for that one), ds brain training x2. For brain training they said £7 but we haggled up lol to a tenner.
All in all we traded 10 games, and got £220 credit.
Excellent deal... but beware buying games on the list to trade in. To be fair it does say at the bottom of the advert that games on the offer may be substitued at any point.
They were also insisting that you buy an accessory with a hardware purchase. On the dsi the cheapest accessory is £2.99 and for the xbox we also got the £25 kung fu panda, lego indiana jones (?) and wireless controller pack.
In total we spent £75 and got a dsi, xbox 360 arcade, and the above pack. V happy!

I was afraid of this, (but tbh suspected it would happen...) What with the OP mentioning the Brain Trainings for cheap etc. These are an obvious one to trade now and i suspect that these ones of all will be worth less very soon!

And also with the cheap-ies that could be ordered from the choices online sale the other day (a lot sub £10)....well...Let's just hope they don't lower the trade price on most of them titles too!! (Mind you they do take a while to arrive over from Jersey!)

they actually said it was because people were going to gamestation buying them cheaply and then going into store and trading them in.
Its a pain if you miss out (we did a little bit) but equally you cant really blame them!

Quite right, of course that's what people would do :D I remember this happened at CEX when people went mad on Fable 2. It stands to reason they don't want 101 copies of something, so those who have them, best get them in.....sharpish ;)
